I feel like this has a lot of similarities to the "Brain in a Vat" thought experiment in implications of consciousness/etc.

This is slightly off-topic but one of my sister's friends received a deep fryer at her wedding reception and the couple decided that they wouldn't use it and so returned it.

To be honest I was focusing more on the Pitbull part of this question when I answered it. I have strong feelings about Pitbull.
