It's so discouraging to see my 'nym as the name of a thread and then learn that it no longer has anything to do with me.

If you'll excuse me, friends, I'm off to stroke my ego.

Sweet. I'm accruing awesome points left and right. So. Back to the original questions . . . any other semester-based, or month-based, BYU-approved places? For those of you that lived in the FLSR, was it worth the money? YES, if you're willing to give up two hours a day for meals. And if your RF isn...

Bah! Go back to England, ya lollygagger!

On a related note: Freddie, would you know me if you saw me? Tangerine's introduced us multiple times, I believe, but I can't for the life of me remember what you look like. Why don't we settle our spelling differences over a game of Diablo 2?

I have vista and I play D2 all the time. They just released the 1.12 patch with the new announcement, so there's a ton of people pulling it back out and playing. I'm on US West if anyone's interested in a few runs. Call me. Or I'll call you. Or email or something. We have so many ways to reach each...

In a completely communistic society, the tax rate would be 100%, but really, there would be no such thing as your money, so you'd have nothing to pay your tithe on. In an ideal 'law of consecration' society, I think the leaders of the community would pay a tithe on the community money, thus taking ...

Have you ever gotten one? Thought about getting one? I am thinking about getting one, even though I wouldn't submit it, just to see the questions The application PROCESS is cool, because it was carefully designed that way. The actual application, once you get past the magic-missile trap and the gea...

I'm a big fan of not passing judgment on missionaries. That's not necessarily what you're doing, but different missions will have different cultures, and different missionaries will have different approaches. Perhaps they shouldn't be approaching these young women, but frankly, it's just not for us ...

Oh, and don't forget when Bob loudly announced that she was in charge of the board. Or was it the Board. I was confused. ;) Yes... We saw a side to Bob that doesn't show itself often, like that of a dictator. I think even Hobbes would be proud at how she governed. Did she execute hostages? You can'...
