It's also important to note that compilers are smart enough to recognize a temp variable swap pattern and perform optimizations for it...

So by specifying a two variable swap you may actually be making your code less efficient...

Both will work in C/C++ provided you are working with ints or int pointers. so are the elected officials really doing what all the people who voted for them want? because i know the people i voted for aren't, and i voted to have them removed. They never do... Everything pre-election is just to see who can BS better... The winner gets to do whatever he/she wants in office.
