Re: 69163 - good omens

Just FYI, to get a certain question by it's number, just type "theboard.byu.edu/####". It'll take you right to it.

Also, I've noticed many other wonderful questions you've asked. I'm not sure why that one was the one referenced in the question.

Re: -ssion vs. -tion

I think the interesting thing here is that the "-tion" ending exists, and that it sounds exactly like "-ssion". Anyone know why they sound the same? Why does "ti" make a "sh" sound?

Re: Laptop issues

I had an old HP laptop that was having a hard time cooling itself because the fan wouldn't speed itself up when it got hot. A cooling pad worked wonders for me. I can hear the fan running faster, so I don't think that's my specific issue. (But a cooling pad might still help.) If it's worth $25-30 t...

Psst! You mentioned that the alligators go to Cleveland, but the map shows them ending up in Columbus!
Awesome answer though.
ha...the alligators just forgot where Cleveland was. ;) They're bad at reading signs.

Re: Sexually experienced girlfriend

And although we all like to think we're immune because we weren't sexually active, a little boy in my neighborhood almost got AIDS from playing in his back yard and he found a used needle. Wait wait wait, you can't almost get AIDS. You either get it or you don't get it. And the virus that causes HI...

Sometimes, when I enter a number beginning with 8, my phone replaces the whole thing with the number of my speed dial '8'. This even happened once when I tried to save someone's number.

Re: Elephant?

It makes me wonder if there are a lot of over hours questions and the editors have been trying to figure out how to knock them down, and someone they all know said they'd be happy to be a temporary writer, just to answer some red questions, but instead of giving them access to the board and their o...

Re: Living in Utah

I was going to write an answer to this, but I wouldn't have finished it for a week and it would have kept the question from posting. I feel like Utah is in many ways a great place to live. Nice people, reasonably decent schools, lots of entertainment options, beautiful scenery/outdoors activities, a...
