...welcome to living in apartments. You'll probably do much worse by the time you graduate (not comforting at all, I'm sorry).

Re: early to bed and rise
I like mornings once I'm up, but waking up is miserable. If I'm out and about by 6:30 or 7, I'm good until around 9:30am when I start to doze a little. If not, my average is moderately moving by 9:15, but very slow until around 10 and I hit the "I want a nap" wall around 2. All of this is ...

They built new ones over by Kiwanis park-ish (the south end). I haven't been in them, but I really like walking past them.

Re: BQ 83402 YSA - privileged position or persecuted posteri
Whoops, apparently I missed that process. Sorry for the assumption. But Utah YSA wards are a beast. I think SLC wards, like most Utah YSAs, are hit and miss depending on where you live. If you're in a ward where most of the boundaries encompass typical family neighborhoods, you're going to end up wi...

Re: BQ 83402 YSA - privileged position or persecuted posteri
Privileged start times? I am technically in boundaries for a ward that starts at 3 PM. 3 PM!! That's not privileged, that's a "none of the family wards want to be in church during dinner and nap time" assignment. My records are in the ward that meets at a much more reasonable 10 AM, and th...

You can go to your dean for back up on that one, if I remember correctly and you think it's helpful. Especially if you have documentation from the accessibility center. It's also possible to retroactively withdraw through the accessibility center.

I'll actually be in the Provo area, so I wouldn't be able to either, but if you ever are back in Austin, let us know.

All of the friends I'm close enough to talk with about thank you notes have split the note writing. My best friend had netflix and note writing marathons with her husband.
I don't expect thank you notes, but I appreciate them.

It's been a long time since I had a one-star book. Apparently that honor went to TFIOS (shoutout Violet), which is interesting, because I'd give Alaska and Paper Towns solid 3 and halfs and probably see the movies. I guess I'm getting too old to finish books I hate. Oh hey, my general dislike of Jo...

Oh hey, I know you're not my cousin's roommate, but the same thing just happened. Engaged when I was in Utah over the 4th holiday, and they'll get married before I come back to Utah in August. It's actually ridiculous. Also, I had to beg friends to pick me up from the airport/frontrunner since my pa...

Slight correction on point 3, LDS family services doesn't facilitate adoptions any more (see here: https://www.lds.org/church/news/church- ... r?lang=eng) and works largely as a counseling service.

Can we also mention that the varicella vaccine, at least in Utah and Idaho, at least up through the early 2000s wasn't required until 7th grade/Middle School ages? It's a Kindergarten shot now, but it wasn't for a long time. Even if your parents were up on the vaccine schedules for school, they may ...

Or you schedule your visiting teaching appointments back to back. "We have to go teach Sofie now. It's been great talking to you." Then you move on. Less evasive technology, more strategic planning so you don't feel like pulling your hair out when you want to be done.

There's been a nasty stomach flu-y bug going around (one friend claimed all of Texas after she got sick, but I doubt that). I hope both of you get better soon.

There are rare times when I miss ProvOrem and the food answers just brought up all of it. Where I live has great food options sure, but they're frequently one note. I've had Thai and Indian food each once and too much fried food and barbecue. The TexMex is something I'm not tired of, but tortas soun...

Little known fact: If you have three (or more) scheduled finals the same day, university policy allows for you to take one of them another day.
