Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die

On an unrelated note, why do you think so many BYU students have turned to idol worship?

The Safest Place -- 61758

This reminded me of an article that came out a few months after Hurricane Katrina:

I don't know how close the Monticello temple is to Blanding, but I'm sure that's the safest place on earth.

Re: Nine for Random Chatter, doomed to die

That guy quoted D&C 42:18, not 18:42. I'll be honest . . . I'm a bit embarrassed anyone has paid him any attention. Sometimes we Mormons tend to get a bit militant when it comes to defending the Church, and when it's done online it doesn't look good. I've read enough comments on the Deseret News...

Re: Introduce Yourselves!

That's a butterfly diagram. (Google 'butterfly diagram fft' if you're interested.) I chose it because it was the first image I saw in my Pictures folder and I figured it would look decent even 80 pixels by 80 pixels. And it's a lot of sideways V's, which relates to my nym.

Re: Introduce Yourselves!

You can call me what you want. :) V is one of those sharp, pointed letters that means business. Defy is also cool, since I'm generally someone who isn't very defiant. You could even call me Deffie if you wanted.

I've been reading the Board for almost a year and a half and have been following the Board Board for a little while as well. I usually ...
