Re: Trivia
I sort of cheated by looking at the wikipedia page of a suspicious canal in a suspicious country. That was a lot easier than the first question as I'd never heard of that show and didn't recognize the house.

Seems like Gimmy doesn't think the Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor result is random. http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/70951/

Maybe you should stop hanging out in Pioneer Park at midnight... I pass Pioneer Park after dark twice a week. I am not crazy enough to actually go in (and I wouldn't were I male), but I think I have the right to not be harassed, full stop. Maybe you understood me perfectly, but I feel like I should...

Re: 70863 Dealbreakers
Most of my bright-line dealbreakers are for first dates, and those are pretty standard safety ones -- I won't go out with random homeless guys who ask me out on the street, or creepy guys who use the phrase "remote cave in the mountains" in their description of their ideal first date, or ...

I just spent 30 minutes on pottermore just to be sorted into Gryffindor. I found another quiz that sorted me into Ravenclaw where I really belong, though.

Lies! What other school has the 100 hour board, BYU info, library chat, and the board board? None, hence there can be no better schools.Marduk wrote:Nah, I'm not a BYU student. I go to a far better school.

Is Vorpal Blade gone for good? I'm off and on in this forum, so I can't remember, but it seems like he was going to play chess and then was never heard from again, is that right?

Re: 70863 Dealbreakers
Aside from the big ones already mentioned, my wife and I came up with two: 1. People who are too loud and argumentative. We both have white personalities, and I just cringe inside when someone is yelling their opinion at me, even if I have the same one. 2. People who think the honor code is silly an...

How much does it usually go on sale for? I deleted all of my games a month back so that I could focus on writing a grant, but now that I'm finished maybe I'll come back. I guess I still have an account though.

Re: shall we dance
It's probably his first fiance, so I give him the benefit of the doubt. I wouldn't be the least bit upset if my wife was simply jealous enough to ask the 100 hour board about a situation like this. It would be a different matter entirely if she demanded that I quit and refused to listen to my side o...

I loved playing the demo of braid, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it. I realize it's not much, but I am kind of crazy about not spending money I don't have to.

BYU has amazing professors and beautiful grounds. It's more diverse here, but that might just be the graduate program in microbiology. I'll think of more later.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I can roll my tongue into a basic 'u' and flip it almost upside down, but I can't do any of the fancy tricks as in this image (I'm not even sure exactly what the bottom-left one is). I'm guessing they're just rolling their tongue into a "U" on the bottom left. What's going on in top right...

it's real everyone. IT'S REAL. All my 14-year-old angst and misunderstanding of atheism and piercings and ALL OF IT. It's like seeing myself through an unadulterated lens of brutal, brutal clarity. I just can't handle that I found this thing and it's a real thing. Now I'm really curious. I promise ...

EFY stalkers #70199
https://theboard.byu.edu/questions/70199/ I'll admit it, I wanted to do something like this (except replace EFY with band camp). It wasn't nearly as difficult, as we both ended up at BYU. I bumped into her on campus and had a really awesome conversation that went something like this: Girl: "Hey...

We're going to Santa Claus this weekend. It will probably be way overcrowded, but at least I can say I did it.
