Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
But if anyone else wants to learn to weld, you can learn for free a couple different places on BYU campus. ;D

I agree that it is hard without a car (hence many of my frustrations this summer) but if you make a friend tha...

Re: Friends and Gender
Well, like I said, females are more interesting. ;D I think that that is a good point though. A guy crying in front of another guy seems to not only be an uncomfortable, but also unacceptable. I think that it might have a lot to do with why I have a hard time becoming friends with guys. (Yes, I have...

Re: #68926 Feet
So, how is it that guys at universities where women are generally wearing a lot less manage to objectify women less than BYU guys do to BYU girls? Evidence? Personal experience at three universities, for starters. This situation wouldn't be tolerated at a secular university. Grr. I just wrote a big...

The thing is, if there in no official policy, they can't dismiss you for it. If there is, they can.

Re: Henna
Personally I hope the the HCO never comes up with an official stance on it. I really don't think that we need to be directed in all things.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Not from risk to the donor, but risk to the recipient. That is an extremely risky and painful process. While AIDS is admittedly a "terminal" disease, many people who have it and receive treatment live for many years. As I remember it, the person who received this treatment got it not becau...

Re: #68926 Feet
I haven't noticed any differences. But then again, I really don't much care about what footwear someone is wearing.
(Although my math teacher does wear flip-flops. So, there is that.)

Yeah, that is a really cool case. Not practical (or safe) for wide usage, but it was cool that the doctors took advantage of a rather unusual set of circumstances to do something for him.

Re: I Dreamed a Dream
Last night my life coalesced in a dream. I had to do integrals to save the crew of Stargate: Atlantis. I even woke up, and then went back to sleep to do another one! ;D
