You can tell when people reject you, or you just checked out Zed's response specifically?
I have a few in limbo, but it's because I'm lazy. And I've never upped privacy for anybody before.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
We celebrated with a pot pie for dinner, and it was uncharacteristically tasty.

Re: Drinking fountain - #71073
My YSA branch president in Colorado had a drinking fountain (a wall-mounted kind, a la most public buildings) as well as a big buddha statue in the living room, a stoplight, a defunct ice cream truck in the back yard, and lots of other fun things. I loved that man. He seemed well-enough-off but his ...

Violin: Used to be a 5ish, but haven't touched it in years and years. Guitar: 1.5ish. Autoharp: 1...and that's saying something, because Autoharps are incredibly easy. I'm blessed to own one, though.

Yep, the Netflix-exclusive series starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright. Interesting stuff.

Yep, that whole movie night group. Also, why did you call me seven?UffishThought wrote:For realsies, seven? I feel that way about you, too. And L'Afro. And Optimistic. And all the rest. I think I had the same reciprocal intimidation with Olympus, too.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I think it's kind of like the dating point system thing in the other thread, except friendship style. This group of people is a little bit out of my friendship league, and I can't shake the feeling that I'm not selling myself well. Soon I'll have too many marks against me and I'll have to stop tryi...

There. One entry for your gallery.

Re: 70863 Dealbreakers
I don't know that I had any absolute dealbreakers, and all my break-ups were amicable and, honestly, pretty mutual. The last break-up before I got married was probably the clearest that we were incompatible - he and I both recognized that my personality, for some reason, kind of disappeared around h...

Re: talking about race - 70775
And I know this isn't a race thing, but it reminds me of a conversation with one of my ASL professors. She was shocked that none of the class would approach a blind person to ask them about being blind, or a black person about being black, or go up to a deaf person to chat with them because we'd le...

Re: What's It Like Not At BYU?
Out of Sauron's cohort for his Master's and now for his PhD, none of them are married or in any rush to get married (though several have committed relationships), and only one other one has a kid. That's not like BYU. But it does make it nice, socially. We just have them over after our kids are asle...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I once designed a Board shirt that never came to fruition, as it would have violated a lot of copyrights. It's dated now, but it was a good design at the time.
