Re: "Mormon" vs. "LDS"
Since Violet brought up a topic from a few days ago already, I figure I might as well piggy back on: 1) As far as "Mormon" vs "LDS" goes, I just want to say that there's a reason I didn't go to BYU. 2) I haven't stalked any of y'all in a long 'ole time. I feel like I used to know...

Yeah, I'm gonna take screenshots of those "suggestions" at some point tomorrow when I actually have my phone next to me.

One of the bishops in my mission looooooooved "Black Grain Juice," which I believe, is essentially non-alcoholic beer. That stuff was WRETCHED.

Re: summer 2016 Board BBQ/Pool party/game day
Incidentally, I was briefly in Utah from the 11th of this month at about 4 PM to the 12th of this month at about 10 AM. Other than that, I've spent most of the month of June in Lima, OH for work. It's exactly as exciting as it sounds (and probably the reason I'm back here again, because there's NOTH...

Update to the whole "raise" thing: I never did get around to asking for a raise, but today my boss came into my office and said "Hey, tomorrow is your six months at (company). You've been doing great work and we're all really happy to be working with you. Everyone likes you, and (he w...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I have been employed at my employer for nearly 6 months. In that time, I have regularly been praised by team members, boss, CEO, and clients regarding basically everything. About two weeks ago, I was "Side-moted" to be "Head of Support." The back story is that we implemented a ne...

Does it help if I spell it lacklustre? /s
Also, it's really hard to write without saying "This" to elaborate on the previous sentence. As a result, I'm basically babbling a lot trying to come up with alternate ways to say it.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Alright team, would you consider the word "lackluster" slang? Because my small group communication professor apparently does, and docked me points for it. \ She also took off points for starting a sentence with "This," saying "What is 'this' referring to?" when she woul...

What makes you happy today?
I got a job offer. It's not in the field of my degree, and (I assume) it was a competitive job. I'm overjoyed.
(I did not want to work in my degree field. At all. So this fact is more than overjoying me. Even though it's finals week.)

I agree with what Whistler said. You probably don't need anything big inside. As long as it has WiFi, a screen size that you want, and a DVD drive, I'd say get something cheap from any reputable brand.

Huh. Ironically, I picked 11 people before I even saw the "You can vote for 11 people" thing.
