period tracking apps

Post by Portia »

I think that another reason to record sexual activity in a period tracker app is if you have any pain, bleeding, or changes to your libido around your cycle. Sometimes I can have large swings in the latter and it can be useful to see why (usually it tracks with swings in other moods, which the apps have little emoji for, too, haha).

I believe most apps have the option to disable for those who aren't sexually active, which makes sense.

I'll usually download the same tracker app a month or so before a gynocologist apppointment so if there is any random pain, mood swings, or whatever, it is easier to remember when it happened and what else was going on. Other than that, I've been on the depo shot and mirena for the last two years and haven't had a period since then.
