I answered that same question back in 2015, and I stand by what I said then. I'm 26, and in terms of perceived excellence I peaked at age 16 with my perfect ACT score. Everything I have done and failed to do since then has been either consciously or subconsciously tainted by the knowledge that it still isn't enough to live up to that standard.
