I'm surprised there's so much defense of conspiracy theories. If I weren't so lazy I'd link you all to some studies about conspiracy theories and the types of people who believe in them. No, they aren't mentally ill, but yes there are consistent characteristics that people who believe in those theories share.

But yeah, glad they pointed out some of the problems in that question!
