I didn't know that the left alt and shift changes the language. That's cool. Thanks Yellow.

Usually you have to set up your languages, otherwise the left alt+shift won't do anything.
You can add most any language: just go to control panel --> regional and language options --> languages --> details --> add the languages you want. If you click on "key settings" you can change it so it is not left alt+shift, but some other key combination (very useful if you are going to add lots of languages and don't want to scroll through all of them each time you switch from one to another).
