Or at least some of my favorite restaurants. If you like Mexican food, try Serrano's. Definitely d-lish, and, in the opinion of most people I know, better than Rosa's. They're both right by my house, so I should know. And for Italian, try Oregano's. I can recommend the fettucine alfredo pizza, but ESPECIALLY the calzones. I've also heard good things about the pesto and the pizza cookie, aka pizookie.
For more touristy things, try the Arizona Science Center. It's fun. Also, the Phoenix Zoo is pretty good too. We are one of the 10 biggest cities in the country, after all. Also, DON'T go tubing the Salt River on a weekend day. Or morning, unless you're willing to tolerate the naked drunk people walking around on the banks. I'll come back and add more later. Now if only there was a way to let Aardvark know...
