I didn't like it! But I can recognize its literary merit mostly because I occasionally follow the blog of an English teacher that sees symbolism in her morning coffee, so she has a field day with Moffat's Who. Sometimes with non-BYU-appropriate language.
I can talk more about it later. Any other fans have a couple cents to pitch in?

Yeah, I wasn't terribly impressed either. I was also the former writer who dropped the ball...sorry dudes.
Matt Smith is definitely growing on me but I thought the main issue was poor writing. The series lacked the drama and grandeur of the former series. I found the Donna finale to be one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, finale of Dr. Who history so this series had a lot to live up to. That being said, I adore Amy Pond.
