Me too.
Also there are still a million threads on here I am planning to revive in the near future. I keep saying that, and one day it will come true.

Psst! You mentioned that the alligators go to Cleveland, but the map shows them ending up in Columbus!
Awesome answer though.

I asked a question nine days ago that has yet to post. I am pre-liking it, because the fact that it's taking so long means it's going to be AWESOME.

Eh, I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've received the occasional lame, over hours response. But I hope that it meets your pre-like.

ha...the alligators just forgot where Cleveland was. They're bad at reading signs.TheAnswerIs42 wrote:http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/66289/

This answer, if it was to be done properly, was always going to take days or weeks. So I'm taking the overage as a sign that it's not being done improperly, at least.Fredjikrang wrote:Eh, I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've received the occasional lame, over hours response. Who is Katya?
My reaction was essentially identical to GA's when I read that question (except the part about how many KPCs I'm worth). Also, I sincerely hope that that The Goblin King wasn't this or this The Goblin King, as our beloved patron saint was definitely active when those questions were asked.

I know The Goblin King from those questions quite well, and I'm pretty sure she doesn't read the Board. Heck I'm not even convinced she read it then. I think she just knew I was a writer and wanted to have some fun with me.
Also, thank you so much for linking to those. I'm not sure how, but I had somehow completely forgotten about that prank war. Reading the story I wrote up about it just left me laughing so hard there were almost tears. I need to someday rewrite it with actual details because I left it intentionally vague and have already forgotten many details. I may have to call everyone up and get their input. Man, I miss my pranking days sometimes.

If it's the question I'm thinking it is (which I just learned about when they asked for my help with it), you made me realize that I graduated from BYU almost 5 years ago. Which is almost as long as I was in college. And while it's fine for high school to be 10.5 years ago, because I've moved past that stage in life, I am so not ready for college to be that long ago. I think because for years after college I still lived in the college life and am just not ready to let it go yet. I don't like feeling this old.Katya wrote:This answer, if it was to be done properly, was always going to take days or weeks. I assume that it's just a reference to Labyrinth, because that's what the quote references.Dead Cat wrote:Who is Katya?

In other news, I'm off to buy a visor like Cyclops (from X-Men) has so that I don't go around accidentally blinding probies.

So, so funny. (I'm also impressed with myself for knowing enough about football to get all of the jokes.)

I'm just impressed that someone on the Board knew a female forest-ranger. It seems a little random (but cool, to be sure).

#66386- Baking books!
Nice! That was a lot better answer than I was hoping for!
Though I guess that means that I won't be baking my rented textbooks. . .
Oh, and this line made me laugh: "I am claiming that one Aeneid is one unit of book thickness."

I want to make a joke here about "cooking the books."
'Cause, you know, it would be so timely.
But I guess I'll spare everyone.

#66596- Honor code curiosities
I liked the answers to this question a lot. Honest, frank, and heart felt.
