Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I have this thing where I'll only wash my whites. I'll pick them out of my laundry basket and wash them (because I need to) and leave the darks for when there's actually enough to bother with a load. (This is a nice thing about having a washer and dryer that aren't coin operated, I guess.)
But now I need to wash my darks and I almost don't remember how to! Plus there's like different styles of things that ought to be washed differently so I need to look at that (and then compromise on the one load I'll stick them in, because hi lazy). But it's time. I need to start organizing what I own and that's hard when 20% is in the laundry basket.

I hate doing laundry so much. I pretty much wait until I absolutely have to, which is about every month or so. I have enough clothing that I can get away with it.

Ironically, I'm doing laundry as I type this. Just in case anybody cares.

I also wait until I have to do laundry. Which is once a week.

I specifically made sure I had enough clothes that I only have to do laundry every other week. And guess what I'm about to do at this very moment?

I got to Provo! And my apartment was GROSS when I moved in. A couple of hours of cleaning later, and it's habitable.

If you need any help, I'm incredibly bored right now.Zedability wrote:I got to Provo! And my apartment was GROSS when I moved in. A couple of hours of cleaning later, and it's habitable.
Today I have watched half a season of White Collar, Run the data for two projects at work, offered my services to three friends as they move, ordered a kindle, refrained from buying a cover for the kindle, sketched out the rough dimensions of my kindle to make my own cover, searched for a copy of assasin's creed to borrow (still looking, my friend only has assasin's creed 2), played all the levels of where's my water (660 of 660 ducks), invited people over for an unsucessful game night. And there is no way I'll be able to sleep for another 4 hours at least.

Can you figure out the rule/pattern for the last progressive matrix on this test? I cannot and am very curious what it is.Unit of Energy wrote:I'm incredibly bored right now.

I don't know that I figured it out. I just chose what looked best and hoped I was right.Digit wrote:Can you figure out the rule/pattern for the last progressive matrix on this test? I cannot and am very curious what it is.Unit of Energy wrote:I'm incredibly bored right now.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
The recent topic of this thread reminded me I had laundry to do. Thanks. : )
I actually have to do my laundry about twice a week to make sure I have enough clothes - I only have about three or four shirts that I wear with any regularity. I always put off washing my whites as long as I can, and even then usually only have one skirt, one undershirt, and some socks. I really just don't have many clothes.

The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

Don't you hate it when your brain is randomly like, "Today is going to be a sad day. Why? Oh, no particular reason, I just thought it would be fun to get spontaneously choked up at inopportune moments throughout the day."

My life was so easy when I thought I couldn't go to my sister's baptism. Now I have to decide if going is important enough to spend $300 for a Saturday at home.

At least you know about it. No one even told me about my little brother's until after it happened. I'm still a little grumpy about it.
Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Ding ding ding! We have a winner! Good advice, Z.If you're miserable because love, in general, makes you miserable, no matter how great the love is, then you should probably figure out why. (Ie, a fear of rejection, a fear of commitment, etc.) If this is the case, and you're having trouble working through the reasons yourself, it might be helpful to see a therapist.

I tend to get this way on lack of sleep.Zedability wrote:Don't you hate it when your brain is randomly like, "Today is going to be a sad day. Why? Oh, no particular reason, I just thought it would be fun to get spontaneously choked up at inopportune moments throughout the day."

You know, every time I read Zedability, I think of Lord Zed.
