Today I learned that if you leave your lunch at home on accident, it is much better to eat nothing at all than to eat a handful of the starbursts you keep in your desk to give your students as prizes.

I've discovered that when I'm slightly tired, kind of annoyed, and RReeeallllyyy frustrated, I get SUPER snarky. Like, I haven't been so ornery for a loooong time.

Life's been teaching me (or rather I find myself teaching my kids repeatedly, and then realizing that I believe) that people, places, and things are very rarely all good or all bad. They're made of some good, some bad, and some things that are neither good nor bad.

Today, I have learned that you should work at your o-chem class all semester, and not the day before the final.
