Re: Mot du jour, etc.
Not that I know of, but seeing as "television" comes from a Greek prefix and a Latin root, I wouldn't call it particularly anglicized.S.A.M. wrote:mot-dièse - hashtag (sharp word) http://mashable.com/2013/01/29/france-r ... r-hashtag/

I would love to add to this. Any suggestions on how best to put ASL signs in?
It doesn't matter what happened to get you to today, beyond shaping your understanding. What really matters is where you go from here.

My preferred dictionary doesn't do linking very well. It just sends you to the main site every time. I'll do some more searching though. A gif might be a good call. Thanks!

Care to post the URL? (Sometimes there are still sneaky ways of doing direct linking.)SmurfBlueSnuggie wrote:My preferred dictionary doesn't do linking very well. It just sends you to the main site every time. I'll do some more searching though. A gif might be a good call. Thanks!

I got to it by going to the entry I wanted, then viewing the source code. For single word entries, you can probably just substitute the letter and the word in that URL. For multiple word entries, you might want to view the source code to see what the format of the phrase it. (Let me know if you need more of an explanation.)
