just so people know, if you have spaces in your username you may or may not have to use underscores to log in. If you want to be cool like that. But everyone knows that the true party is here.

I don't get it. "O Ye Mountains High" is in the Finnish hymnal as well. I'm not even sure why...

While I was in France, I saw "L’amour de Dieu, sa force aussi" in the hymnbook and didn't recognize it as one in the English hymnbook. Interestingly enough, it was written by Naomi Randall, so you would guess that we'd have it in English, too. Anyone know why we don't?

The thing with Avon is Duck Brand is headquartered nearby.

That said, don't think I haven't given some thought to trying to organize something like that down here. ; )
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

So you remember the girl that friendzoned me? She told me that she didn't want to go on a date because she wasn't interested in a relationship. And then tonight she showed up at a party with her new boyfriend. Class. Pure class.

Since I've known Portia, I've been bothered by the nagging feeling that she reminded me of someone. Not an acquaintance per se, but a character from a movie, or novel, or something.

I finally realized who it was! Peppermint Patty from Peanuts.

And now I feel stupid that it took me this long to realize that.

Ha. I saw the movie Limitless on TV the other night and Googling around noticed that someone on Amazon is using the name of the fictional nootropic NZT from the movie to sell their placebos for $54.90. The irony is that I'll bet most people would feel dumber after paying over $50 and then finding out that it didn't do anything.

We took a trip to Arizona and New Mexico. On the first day we drove to Arizona and then spent some time with one of my brother-in-laws and his family. The next day we visited with an Aunt and some of her family. We then went to the Mesa Temple for a session, and finally drove to Flagstaff. On Friday we visited Meteor Crater and drove to Albuquerque New Mexico where one of my sons lives with his wife and one of my amazing grandchildren. We spent Saturday and Sunday with them, going to church and watching the missionary training session. On Monday we drove home.

Thanks for asking, S.A.M.
