Harry Potter party!

Post by Dragon Lady »

Because I'm also Niffler, I love all things Harry potter. I decorated my house as Hogwarts this year and it just seemed natural to throw a HP party. It's going down on Thursday at 6:30, open house style. You're all welcome. Let me know if you're interested and I'll get you my address. It's in Lehi, so take distance into account.

Assuming we don't have any conflicts, Bob and I should be able to stop by. We'd also have a seat or two in case anyone wanted to come but needed a ride (as long as they didn't mind being at the mercy of our desired leave time.)

Pretty sure, though I'd recommend texting me just to make doubly sure. I wouldn't want to show up at your neighbor's house!

Heather and I were just going to stay home and binge on X-Files and popcorn (mmm!), but we also haven't seen you or your kids since Olympus's wedding, so I imagine we'll drop by (o:

Harry Potter is way better than X-files. And since you probably don't believe me, I'm pretty sure my kids are cuter than Scully. ;)

And Marduk, I'll just invite you on Facebook. It's got my address on there.

I'd love to be there, but I don't know if I can yet. In any case, I would need a ride.

I'm having a baking party with a neighbor today for this (because she won't be there tomorrow and was sad and wanted her own pre-potter party. So I invited her to cook with me). It started out easy. But then my brother kept finding all these yummy-looking recipes that we've never tried before. So I just printed out recipes for Rock Cakes and Lemon Drops and Custard Creams as well as the one for Pumpkin Pasties that I meant to do.

And... I'm really nervous about how long my stamina is gonna hold up. It sometimes is really lame to need to lay down for half the day. Yipes!

(Also, Katya, if you came, you could knit my HP scarf for me. Or at least help me figure out the pattern I so foolishly decided to make on my own, having about 2% of your knitting knowledge.)

Ooh, knitting! I don't know how I'll be feeling that day, but send me you're address and I'll come if I can.

You're still welcome to come help me knit anytime. I've also got some socks I'm trying to knit in the round and failing... miserably.
