Boardboard party?
Boardboard party?
So... I'd like to meet some of you! Do you feel the same way? Also some of you are my friends and it would be fun to see you again. Vote in the poll so we can see if there's enough of us for a full-blown party, otherwise maybe we can go out to lunch .
Re: Boardboard party?
Texas Boardboard peeps, where are we all located? I'll be in Houston now. Maybe we could have a get together as well?
beautiful, dirty, rich
Re: Boardboard party?
I'm in Austin these days and I know a few others are in the surrounding area.
Re: Boardboard party?
Haha, thanks for letting me vote "I'm not in Provo." Voting is so satisfying.
We had a central Texas Board Board afternoon last fall and it was pretty nice. I'm in Round Rock and so is... I forget her username. And Violet is in Austin, like she said, duh.

Ooooh, Central Texas Boardboard party!!!! I am not in Central Texas, but we're going to be visiting Austin next week. Wednesday the 12th.
Re: Boardboard party?
That's the very same day my work is having a ladies' night. D: Is that the only day you'll be here?
Re: Boardboard party?
Weekends in Provo or SLC are good for me, generally. Except not Labor Day.
Re: Boardboard party?
Hmm, I might have to make another poll. 8/22, 9/4, and 9/5 are good for me, and I'm fine with hosting

Any of those would be fine for me. Thanks, Whistler!

Yeah, we're leaving the next day. Bummer.mic0 wrote:That's the very same day my work is having a ladies' night. D: Is that the only day you'll be here?
Re: Boardboard party?
Ah well. The others may want to, though.
Re: Boardboard party?
I'll actually be in the Provo area, so I wouldn't be able to either, but if you ever are back in Austin, let us know.
Re: Boardboard party?
Well, as you and Mico are the only ones I know of who live in Austin, apparently this isn't going to happen this time around. I don't go to Austin all that often, but next time I do I'll let y'all know.Violet wrote:I'll actually be in the Provo area, so I wouldn't be able to either, but if you ever are back in Austin, let us know.

I've got this party scheduled for this Saturday the 5th at 7pm. I'm planning to make a delicious cake. Do any of you need/want rides? My house is bikeable distance from BYU and a very long walk.

I'll be coming down from Salt Lake (thanks, Whistler!) so if anyone in or around the Salt Lake Valley needs a ride, let me know.
Re: Boardboard party?
this is the cake, if you're on the fence about the party https://www.cooksillustrated.com/recipe ... layer-cake (although I've never made a fancy cake like this before, so it might just end up being caramel chocolate mush). Oh, and does anyone have good party games? I have a few but I always like playing new ones.
Re: Boardboard party?
Oh man, if I lived anywhere near Provo I would consider showing up at a party full of strangers just to eat that cake.

I can bring Exploding Kittens.
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.
