Dear people,

Please go here [1] to request BYU unblocks tumblr.com. It is a hosted blogging site similar to blogger or wordpress (actually, better than either of the two!), so it is quite silly for it to be blocked (is there possible adult content? yes. same as blogger, wordpress, etc., yet they remain unblocked).

Just got an email from them claiming it is blocked because of pornographic content. As I mentioned, it has no more porn than Wordpress or Blogger. Please send requests. Thanks.

My freshman year (when I lived on campus) the Provo mayor's website was blocked for a while. I had a rather entertaining email conversation with the OIT in which I requested it be unblocked, they denied that it was blocked, I pointed out that it was indeed blocked, and they never answered, though it did mysteriously get unblocked.

Not such a big fan of them.
