Top 50 Lord of the Rings characters:
http://www.sporcle.com/games/dolebanana/alllotr
I was so obsessed with the books in eighth grade. I still remembered enough to get 30/50, though, not bad.

148/195, although I got 6/7 on the most missed. I have a mission to Hawaii to thank for that--and also randomly knowing Comoros because I remember that its capitol is Moroni (oh, and being able to spell Sao Tome and Principe correctly).

I got Equatorial Guinea and missed Kenya. Other embarrassing misses because the map wasn't zoomed in enough: Pakistan AND Afghanistan (super embarrassing), Switzerland, Belgium, Romania, Democratic Republic of Congo (but I got Republic of Congo--go figure), and Taiwan. I got Bosnia and Herzegovina and missed Kosovo. So...basically, I feel like I should have gotten more like 155, but oh well.

Animaniacs helped me a little bit, too--at least getting the early ones quickly without too much thought. Go Yakko.

Old Testament Words: 170/200
3-lettered body parts: 4/10 ... I must be tired.
Numbers: 61/100 first try, 100 on third try)
Plagues of Egypt: Disgraceful. I don't want to tell you.
Common words: 74/100
World religions: 9/21. Would have been 11 if I could spell Zoroastrianism and remember what Baha'i is called. I was surprised by how badly I did on this. Some of it has to do with terminology (I didn't think to classify Spiritism separately from African traditional religions), but wow--1 million Neo-Pagans? 19 million Juche? I didn't even know what that was until I looked it up just now.

3 letter body parts:
6/10, half from a certain book by Nancy Farmer.

Simpsons characters:
9/63, more than half of which were me throwing random names out the window.

Elements:
47/118...I'm embarrassed by this one.

90s TV Shows by first name of actors:
6/44. The one for Lucy and Renee is the only one I'm truly ashamed of missing.

Numbers from 1-100 in under a minute:
79/100 was my best score. This one can get very addicting.

Most common English words:
70/100. Thanks scripture mastery and other things I've memorized over the years!

Fast food restaurants:
16/50. But now I'm hungry.

First words of famous things:
13/24. I forgot what some of the things were.

First 200 words of the Old Testament:
141/200. Put me in the cone of shame.

Books in the Book of Mormon:
15/15. Singing in my head all the way.

Largest World Religions:
7/21, but I'm giving myself four more bonus points for ones I knew but couldn't give the right name. So 11.

Plagues of Egypt:
8/10. Life was not fun in Egypt then.

Lord of the Rings Characters:
16/50, plus two bonus points for more I knew but couldn't put my finger on precisely.

16/50 Lord of the Rings. I had to just give up because I couldn't think of anyone.

Too true! I've been impressed with the Baha'i faith, but could n'ever get the apo'strophe in the righ't place.

19/50 in 7 minutes of the LotR characters. Could have topped 50% easily if it were an oral quiz.

Wow, I must really like Lord of the Rings. I got 45/50. I missed Amroth, Imrahil, Gorbag, Helm Hammerhand, and Arvedui. I don't even remember what any of them do. I guess I should go read the books again.

23/50 on Lord of the Rings. I got Shelob, so I was totally okay with that score.

I have discovered Sporcle many times over the last few months. Every time I find it again, I waste a few hours of my life.

Hypatia linked to the most common English words quiz in a question yesterday. I went ahead and did it. I got 67/100.

I keep wanting to take the HP quiz again.

The Harry Potter sporcle quiz is making the rounds again. I am very pleased with my new score of 128.

My biggest frustration was not being able to remember the characters that the little Irish rosettes would squeak out at the Quidditch World Cup.

I'm decorating my house (inside and a little out) as Hogwarts for Halloween. Maybe I should listen to the books all week in honor of it then take this quiz again at the end of the month.

That sounds so cool! What do you think bring the most Harry-Potter-ness to your decor?

Ummm… good question. HP-specific potions, snitches, entrance to the MoM through my toilet, an owlry (sp?), Hogwarts crest … I'll post pictures when I get it all set up and get F-Stop over here.
