This one made me laugh because it reminded me of the time I was annoyed at my parents for not letting me do something and accidentally said I was depraved instead of deprived. My dad informed me that if I was depraved, it was all my own fault. I don't think I'm ever going to live that one down!

I've wondered about this before, but you guys put way more thought and effort than I ever did. Good job!

Also, Ward Dinosaur Hunter could be the appendix since they don't come out until desperate times call for desperate measures.

Game Metaphors
Basically, I liked everyone's answers a lot, but "Backgammon is a metaphor for spiky things" was probably my favorite.

Hmm, the only one I remember offhand was that if the Young Men are the GI tract, then surely the YM Presidency would be the anal sphincters (they have to keep all the Young Men's crap under control!).Whistler wrote:well... could you tell us? Or maybe just me?

Thanks Eirene. That was a great answer. I still have questions, but I am satisfied for now. Also, I don't watch medical dramas on TV (or anywhere), they freak me out. (Just, you know, in case anyone was wondering.)

Most of what I know about comas was in that answer (hey, I'm just a first year), but if you have more questions I might be able to help dig stuff up, or ask professors or something.

So, dearest Katya, please forgive my ignorance, but when did you start writing for the board again?
