My Roommate's struck again
He's done it again, this time taking all the dishes in our apartment and putting them in his car. He refuses to give them back, saying "you're not responsible enough to use dishes."
Re: My Roommate's struck again
My sympathies. I had a roommate who did that once, although I guess she left a few dishes that were still clean. In her case, it was because it was her turn to wash the dishes, and she thought she was above such things. She brought them back inside about five days later and threw them all on the floor after one of my other roommates confronted her about it.
Gotta love mature roommates.
Gotta love mature roommates.

Wow. I don't even know what to say about that. I really hope you're not living with him for much longer.

Re: My Roommate's struck again
They were in the sink unwashed, and no they're not his dishes. They are all leftovers from previous people who have lived here, so they're nobody's. Except maybe his now. When I said "give us back our property," he said "they're not your property, [perjorative term]."

How much longer do you have to live with this guy?

Until Friday. So it's not that bad... just I wish that he'd stop being such a tool!

I'm really glad that you won't have to live with him... but you're going to own everybody in "My roommate was so bad..." stories from here on out.

I have a story that might be on par with your roommate, but I think the person who committed the offense might read the message board.

Then you will have to COME TO A PARTY and tell it there, darling. (Unless said person comes to the party, I suppose...)chillygator wrote:I have a story that might be on par with your roommate, but I think the person who committed the offense might read the message board.
Also, Craigy, I have decided that you tell stories well. So in a terrible way I am a little bit sad that you will not be living with him any more. Now where will you get all of those wonderful stories to relate at boardboard parties? I demand there be frequent misfortune in your life so you can tell stories about it!
The Epistler was quite honestly knocked on her ethereal behind by the sheer logic of this.

I had a roommate take all our dishes to a boys bedroom once. yeah, that was an interesting Sunday morning.
Re: My Roommate's struck again
So hide his car keys and tell him he's not responsible enough to use his car!

I read that as "boy's bathroom" on first glance.Unit of Energy wrote:I had a roommate take all our dishes to a boys bedroom once. yeah, that was an interesting Sunday morning.
A far worse fate, I'm afraid.
Re: My Roommate's struck again
I had a roommate tell me one time that I ruined her semester by having panic attacks. But at least she never stole my dishes. Sorry, Craig, that stinks.
