Estate sales?

Post by krebscout »

Very random question: does anybody happen to know the usual length of time between a death and an estate sale?

In my great aunt's case, it was a couple of months, maybe. In my grandparents' case, neither had died, they were just moving to a smaller place.

Not an answer to your question, but I've always wanted to go to an estate sale. It sounds like a fancier version of a garage sale.

That's all I really wanted to say.

I'd wait until after the funeral, but not too long after. It's best to just wrap the business end of death up so that grieving can occur without any strings attached.
