Party on Saturday, March 9th?

I'm back in Provo (which is reason enough to celebrate), but Gio just found out that he's going to be in Utah for part of his spring break, so I thought that was a good excuse to plan a BoardBoard party which will hopefully work with his schedule. Right now it looks like Saturday night (March 9th) is the best time.

The way I see it, we need (1) someone to host, (2) someone to bring or make food (because we're (mostly) Mormon, so how can we have a party without food?), and (3) someone to offer rides to those as need them. (Oh, and (4) enough people to show up to make it worthwhile.)

I have too many boxes and not enough furniture to host and I probably don't have time to make anything, but I'm happy to bring anything I can buy at a store and I my car can comfortably seat 3 adults (plus myself). Does anyone want to volunteer for the rest? (And are enough people available to make it worthwhile?)

I'm not entirely sure that I can come, but if I can, I'd love to! I'll bring nuts and bird seed! Oh- I'm quick, but I'm pretty small, so I'll need a ride. :-)

I can host, but I live in Spanish Fork.

I'll stick you in the trunk. ;)

I can fulfill one through three, although it is generally easier for others to give rides, as I just end up sending bob out in my car and then she comes back anyways.

And Katya, if YOU are coming, that totally fulfills number four.

I bet I can fit. I'm long and skinny. And I bend easily. ;-)

in behalf of Tally-

Well, if you need a place to have it--and don't mind being in freshman housing--the new Heritage Halls buildings have an activity room on the main floor that's fairly large and can be used for parties

yeah, so, I guess we need more info to make an informed decision? The downside is that it takes 15-20 minutes to drive down here. The upside is, we have a house and a kitchen and bathrooms, and if some people want to play DDR in the basement while some people play Dominion and others watch silly youtube videos, that is possible (and I'm obligated to prepare/attend, which I see as an upside?).

I haven't been to Marduk's place, but it sounds like other parties there went pretty well too. I'd be reluctant to go to Heritage Halls, because I'd feel kinda out of place, but how do other people feel about it?

Portia gave up the bb for Lent, remember? And she's actually keeping to it which is better than I've done with my Lenten fast.

I'm a solid maybe. I have a niggling feeling there's something going on that weekend but I can't remember what it is.

Tally- So, I forgot I have stake conference that day. Lucky thing is, it starts at 4. So...we should have it well before 4, or after 6. Preferably at like 7 or something

In. And I'd prefer Whistler's to Heritage, but I'm biased.

DDR, Dominion, and silly You Tube videos sounds fun! .... And I like basements. Where I come from we don't have them, so they're kinda a novelty. Sounds awesome, Whistler!
