Castle's dating application is really good. Hopefully he'll get some promising replies.

Castle in the Sky was my first Hayao Miyazaki film. My roommate suggested that it would be more accessible to an American viewer, but I actually didn't like it that much. I found Spirited Away to be much more engaging and vibrant.

I'm not about to date him, for hopefully obvious reasons. But that application certainly is interesting.
In terms of Hiyo Miyazaki films though, I agree that Castle in the Sky is not the most accesable one. Howl's Moving Castle though is one that I think most western viewers would like.

Are you guys talking about
Fortress in the Sky?
See
here if you don't know why I said that.

Lol, I have to say that that was by far one of the funniest responses I have read on the board recently.
I also find it interesting that he is currently dating two people apparently.

Just want to say hi
I decided that I'm family so I can't date myself. Otherwise, I'd be all over me.

Dude, besides the fact that you and Castle in the Sky are related, there's the fact that you are the same person. I think that would be the most awkward part.

I remembering seeing an ad one time that looked like an newspaper article headlined "Local Area College Student Dates Self"
I think it was an ad for a bank that would save it's clients enough money that they could actually date.

. . . reminded me of this line: "She liked you Wednesday, but now it's Friday, and she has to wash her hair."
Name that band.

Hey, if it counts for anything, I got the lyrics without artificial aid.
And I saw them perform on Leno tonight (anyone else catch it?). They were awesome. Matty T. rocked, of course--playing an upright piano! On the
Tonight show!
And...well, okay, this is going to be more revealing than I thought...I'm covering their show in Salt Lake City on the 20th for the Capitol street team (their label), so I get guestlisted +1. Woo hoo for free concerts!
</band rant>
Sorry.

Moxie---no way. No way. I am SO INCREDIBLY JEALOUS of your concert-going!!!!
And unfortunate day for the fact that I haven't got a TV--I really missed out. Matt T. is basically my hero, and I'm sure his piano skills were an amazing sight to behold. Oh, Relient K! The minstrels of my heart. ^.~

No kidding, Lexi. I can;'t believe they're coming to SLC, and I see no way I can go. Grrrrrr.

There is no option on the poll for "I broke up with Castle in the Sky," or some such. I mean, I think the dating life of at least some of his 3 werffriends may have changed. ( I was not one of the people who chose "I am currently dating him," for the record.)

I love the option that says
I've got a boyfriend/girlfriend/husband, but you seem like a nice person.
Mostly I think it's funny because it implies that although the respondent already has a girlfriend, he would perhaps be inclined to date CitS if that were not the case.
Hee.
