So I've pondered the issue both ways, and if/when I date again (winter, I guess?), I think I'd much prefer meeting someone the traditional way. Unfortunately, I lack a Church group, I am opposed to intra-office dating, and my main hobbies are over-represented by teens, gay men, and gay teens.
I feel like I'm extroverted and have adequate social skills. However, I hate "bar scenes" with a fiery burning passion and I am just much more flirtatious online than off. I also worry about investing time in someone if we won't be long-term compatible, and I haven't just dated to date people in like, years. Four or something.
I'm also still emotionally invested in this ... guy ... I don't even want to talk about it. It's ridiculous.
Basically, now that I write that, my answer is "date no one ever and fly to Paris instead."
