Rockets are risky, as the recent explosion shows. Would you go on the first manned mission if asked?

"Asked"? From everything I've read, Mr. Musk does not "ask." 0_0

When it comes to betting your life, by definition you can make maximum zero bad bets and live to tell about it.

No, I'm scared and think I'd be too nervous to enjoy it. Apparently I'm in good company since everyone thus far has voted No. :)

Space isn't that interesting to me. It isn't like you're going anywhere. At best it is like going on safari, but with far fewer cool animals. I vote no (even without the 5% chance of death.)

To the space station? Please.

To the moon/Mars/fifth dimension? Maybe. Probably.

It's pretty crazy that the very fragile quadriplegic Stephen Hawking did eight rounds of temporary weightlessness in a vomit comet in 2007. I would not have wanted to be the guy in charge of making sure his neck didn't snap at any point. (Love the background music in that YouTube video  )

Yeah, I'm the crazy one who voted yes. I can't help myself. I would freaking love it.

I would totally go. I'm usually fairly risk-averse, but I have wanted to go to space since before I could even talk.

List of spaceflight-related accidents and incidents
The Apollo 1 pure oxygen fire in 1967 and the Soyuz 11 decompression in 1971 seem particularly gruesome.
