I'm looking for a (preferably female) family practice doctor in the Provo area. Any of you have recommendations, either from yourselves or others you know?

I'm not in Provo, but when I'm looking for a doctor, I always start by using my insurance provider's doc find so that I know that they're in my network. Even if you don't have insurance, using a few insurance companies doc finds might give you a good idea of who is out there. I've even been able to sort by gender before.

Yeah, I've got an insurance network to look into, but I'm just trying to narrow down the multitude of options.

Shelly Savage at Grandview Family Medicine in Provo is wonderful. Her clinic is also very busy because she's so popular, but she has a number of PAs who work with her who I'm told are also really good to work with.

Let me second Katya's recommendation of Dr. Savage. I recently started seeing her and she's great.
