This isn't meant to attack or even disagree with Sheebs or the church, but I really, really hope that if anyone ever makes you feel the way Sheebs describes that she might in this situation, you run far, far away, and that you do it quickly. There is no cause noble enough or need great enough to tolerate that in your life. This is, of course, my traumatized, experienced, trying-to-get-better opinion.

I agree. I've told my husband that if we were told that he needed to take a second wife, we are going to say no. Besides, the church has made it clear time and time again that they stay out of the bedroom, so if they suddenly told my husband that he would have to be open to possibly being physically intimate with some woman other than me, I would instantly go to whomever gave him this directive and begin demanding that they disclose all the various sexual acts and positions they have done with their spouse including the exact way all of their children were conceived. If they're not willing to share their bedroom details with me and the world then I sure as he** am not going to allow them to dictate the bedroom interactions of me or my husband!
