Personally, I see it differently. I won't rule out that it's an authentic blog, I just think that the simplest explanation is not that a girl has fallen in love with her seminary teacher who was fired for believing in plural marriage and then he proposed to her and she is struggling with accepting a polygamous lifestyle and has decided to air her concerns and frustrations on the internet. This situation is highly unlikely, but makes for a great plot for a novel, don't you think? The more likely, and indeed the simplest, explanation is that someone has decided to write a story. This is very common ... not unusual at all.

That said, I actually enjoyed reading it, as it kept my attention. I have to give credit to the writer, whether writing an autobiographical or a fictional account, for maintaining a continuous narrative with insightful questions that spur the reader on to the next post.

my apologies for spurious use of the term "occam's razor"!
