Re: Answers I liked

What do we think of the situash with the wedding in D.C.? I didn't go to my two best friends' respective weddings, and my sibs are way younger and I obviously don't have in-laws. Honestly, the only wedding I've traveled for (defining traveled as going far enough that I spent a night away from home)...

Re: #78972 - low libido

Oh, and don't ever forget that the hormones released from having sex also tend to increase the desire for more sex. To increase your desire for sex, have it more often. I still remember a class I took eons ago for young married couples and we had an OB/GYN come talk to us and answer questions. He as...

No questions at the moment, but definite thanks for laying out there so well. My daughter finishes up her classes at BYU-I today and student teaches in secondary math this fall. She was asking me what I knew and/or had heard about this a few weeks ago. I'm going to link her to this thread.

Evil and hate? Eh, not so much. Strong opinions with no punches pulled? Definitely.

Side note: Do I agree with those opinions? Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.

I know this is an old debate, but I'd like to throw in my two cents on Rush. I was actually, serendipitously, listening to his "I hope Obama fails" speech when he made it. (I've listened to his show probably less than a half dozen times in my life, and then never the whole thing.) What he ...

ID#: 50519 How are you?

My favorite answer: Fair, to partly cloudy.
Or: Overcast, with a chance of showers.

Not a complaint at all. The sad thing, though, is that I probably know people who could identify if they could see it. :)

Thanks for the input guys. I'm considering upgrading my zire & cell phone to a centro and one of my biggest hesitations is having to go with qwerty for texting. And I'll miss graffiti.

Okay. Not the topic of the thread, but I have a texting question. Is there anyone here who has texted regularly with both a phone keypad and a qwerty keyboard? If so, which do you prefer? I'm having trouble finding anyone who has done both. Either they've never used qwerty (or only when borrowing a ...

Seriously, is it that hard to refrain from texting during a PRAYER? AKA communication with God?
These are the same people who whisper or pass notes during the prayer.

I am so glad my age group doesn't text. What a lousy way to communicate . . .
Um, how old are you?

Humble Master, I'll have you know that street light is only on for weekdays with the exception of national holidays when we turn it off. Oh, and it blinks the whole month of December to celebrate Christmas.

As krebscout indicated, if you're reasonably healthy, you can certainly fast for several hours when pregnant or nursing without serious harm to the baby. I was actually nursing my third child before I even considered not fasting just because I was pregnant or nursing. I'd never even heard of such a ...

FWIW, I'm a couple of decades younger than Vorpal and the use of the word gay has changed dramatically in my life time. As a child, gay wasn't a word I used often, but I certainly recognized it to mean happy/giddy/something like that. One of my favorite primary songs said, "It's always fun when...

How can you not love baby photos? Oh, and on the SSN's, I really don't think they're assigned sequentially. I'm of the generation where most of us got them when we wanted to get a drivers license or permit. My brother and I, on the other hand, got them somewhat younger when we opened savings account...

Anyone can get a good grade in any class if they try hard enough. Call me an idealist if you want! I thought that, too. Then I did a semester of student teaching. And had a student that I honestly wasn't sure could pass my class, no matter how hard she worked at the material. I'm thinking that I'd ...
