Re: Drinking fountain - #71073

I am not from Utah, but I know at least one family in my neighborhood that has a water fountain in their house.

I also know several families, residing in Utah, who have water fountains in their houses.

Well, I also kinda showed up...just a few hours late. Not really, but I am at least in the library. I'm assuming you're the one whose shirt I liked? Way to represent :)

Re: Belmont and other housing...

Sorry I'm super not good at checking the boardboard very often. Belmont is great in a lot of ways. Some things I like about Belmont: -cheap -close to campus -truly awesome ward -decent management -ward meets in a church building -two bathrooms -south of campus -close-ish to grocery store -close to p...

Welp, I've lived in Belmont Apartments for multiple years. Do you have specific questions? If so, I'd be glad to answer them.

"Wear Pants to Church Day"

I remember there being a thread somewhat related to this topic a while back, but I don't have time to look for it now. Sorry! Have you guys seen this event on facebook? What are your thoughts? Although I personally like wearing skirts and dresses, I don't think women should be forced to wear them. T...

Seems like for every person I know getting a call for March or later, there's another one whose report date is the beginning of January. I think it really depends.

Re: good slack classes?

Classes that I have taken for no reason other than personal fulfillment that weren't too difficult that I liked at least reasonably well: ASL 101 (Conversation ASL 1) -No homework, but I felt like I learned a lot very quickly. DANCE 170 (World Dance, Beginning) -Super fun and low-key. DANCE 173R (Et...

Re: Intraboard dating

No idea what the writers think about this, since I'm clearly not one. I personally find questions that are nothing more than inside jokes annoying, but I think some people actually like them. And I don't read any questions I don't care about, anyway. If you decide to do it: Are you pretty sure (read...

Re: New Name

I go by my middle name, which I like quite a bit. I also like my first name, perhaps even more than my middle name. This confuses a lot of people, including me, but that's just how it has always been.

And I absolutely love nicknames.

I just remembered an experience from fourth grade that's applicable. My best friend at the time was a Muslim from Pakistan. One day, our teacher called my friend over to her desk. She proceeded to scold her (loudly enough for the class to hear) for drawing on herself with an orange marker and being ...
