I, too, am Sleeping Beauty. Though, cuz I think it's pretty, I'll say Aurora instead.

I stand corrected. But for the record, 1998 was 12 years ago. Isn't that old? ;)

Yellow has a full-time job. I am a full-time mom. Our lives don't change one bit seasonally.

Except perhaps Dragon Baby and I will take more walks and play outside more in between naps. And I will be remarkably happier for all the flowers and warmth and sandals and capris.

Those who voluntarily choose to not vaccinate their children, by compromising herd immunity, are directly threatening children who for legitimate medical reasons cannot be vaccinated. Many people who voluntarily choose not to vaccinate their children believe they are doing so for legitimate medical...

People who don't vaccinate their kids are like drunk drivers: a threat to society who think "it won't happen to me". Compromising herd immunity ought to land you in jail. It's harsh blanket statements like this that landed you your reputation, bismark. As has been discussed, some people d...

See, that's what I was always told, too. But when my bishop pulled me in, he was very excited because he had just received a letter saying there was a change of policy and he knew how excited I would be. I suppose it could have been a change in stake or area policy, though, not church-wide.

It's not just because of a few anecdotal cases of correlation. There was a study published years ago that straight out said that vaccinations were linked to autism. Caused quite a stir. Recently another study was published that basically debunked the first one, showing all the flaws in the first stu...

Just as a point of interest, when I went through the temple a few years ago for no good reason other than I wanted to, I was 24. I had actually started trying to get that ball rolling a few years earlier, but my bishop said I was too young and kept asking me if I wanted to go on a mission. I moved w...

Hey, don't lump all women together under the crazy-during-PMS/pregnancy banner. Some of us stay normal. Sorry. I stereotype here because it makes me feel better to know that when I do act crazy thanks to wonderful hormones, there are others out there with me and it's not entirely my fault. Also, ma...

Dear Tao, I think you just called me a willfully ignorant woman. :) I'm not saying that he'll marry someone who will never use logic or have any ability to rationalize. What I am saying is that girls are more likely than men to hit an emotional state that trumps all logic. She may even be fully awar...

LJ, I can't wait till you get married to an emotional woman. I'm curious how you'll react to a girl who bases her arguments solely on emotion. Especially during PMS, pregnancy, breastfeeding, etc.

Then again, I'm sure Yellow would be happy to commiserate with you at that point...

And I'm glad ya'll stuck with it anyway, and as far as I can gather, no one swore an oath to stop reading the Board forever and ever or burn effigies of the writers or do anything outlandish in general. Did you know I once made an effigy of Yellow? And killed it several times over and over? All bec...
