Re: Hate to be THAT person....

Yeah, I've definitely been dropping hints that I find him easy to talk to, enjoy hanging out with him, etc. I definitely wouldn't say I love him because, again, we've known each other for like a week and a half, but I think he likes me too. He's pretty fresh off his mission though so I'm thinking ma...

Hate to be THAT person....

But I'm going to be that person anyways. I am interested in this guy and I'm pretty sure he likes me too. We've known each other for about a week and a half but we've gone on a few dates and just generally we've hung out a lot. When should I tell him I like him? Part of me wants to move fast but ano...

Re: Rant of the Day

BYU on campus housing is starting to piss me off. First they build the new building I'm living in waaaayyyy smaller and the desk and bed space are terrible. Then I called them today to ask if I could move in early and they say that not only do I have to be out of my a apartment by 10 AM tomorrow, I ...

Re: Rant of the Day

I cleaned up my roommates' crap in the kitchen and living room for an HOUR. I get home, nobody says thank you or anything and then they have a bunch of people and cook a ton of food without cleaning it up. I am so done.

Re: Mental illness is dumber

Well, out of the blue a relationship appeared. Seriously. Like, it was the most random (but well-timed) thing ever. I am now in the beginning stages of what could be a relationship. The rational normal not broken part of me is very excited and realizes that this is a good thing, but the anxiety part...

Re: Mental illness is dumber

Kind of weird. It really makes sense though. We basically discussed how I have needs and that's okay, and because I am not really ready for a real committed relationship, he told me it's okay if I just want to find some one to cuddle with or kiss without any real meanings attached. Right now my phys...

Re: Mental illness is dumber

Also, in other news, I started therapy for my anxiety. It's excellent but it also kind of sucks at the same time...

Also recently got diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive type, basically ADD) which pretty much explains my entire life.

Re: Mental illness is dumber

So I just found out I have depression (which explains a lot) but I have no idea how to bring it up to my parents. I guess a lot of the problem is I don't really feel like I NEED to bring it up to my parents, I just know that if they find out six months from now they'll be upset I didn't tell them s...

Re: Rant of the Day

Summer term roommate drama has already begun. On campus housing is a pain in the butt, especially summer term when they won't let you secure your roommate. I am just trying to switch rooms IN THE SAME APARTMENT so I can be in the same room as my friend and I am just really really upset because her r...

Really though. I kind of wonder if (and how much) I'll ever get over this anxiety crap. It's kinda messing my life up in more aspects than one. :?

Re: Mental illness is dumber

Relapsing into depression and my Celexa isn't helping. But social anxiety is keeping me from going back to my doctor to up the dosage or get a different prescription. Love it. Not the way I want to start college. Just waiting until I get out to BYU this summer to start therapy. Hopefully that works ...

Re: Course Load

Thanks for your input guys! I'll probably work but I'm trying to find a secretary or desk job where I can work on homework if I don't have anything else to do. I'm worried about giving myself too much free time because I know I'd abuse it. If working gets too hard I can always stop, too, so I guess ...

Sorry for starting two threads in a row, but I just registered for classes and I want opinions on if it's too much. I'm a new freshman starting summer, so I already will have had some college experience (though not much). For fall, I registered for the following: Preview of Nursing (1) American Heri...

At what age did you discover The Board? For those of you who are/were writers, when did you start writing?

I thought it was awesome. I'm in the middle of re-reading the series and your answer gave me so many feelings haha... It was a really interesting take on the Harry Potter series.

Re: Answers I liked

Concorde's Harry Potter answer was 12,457 words. That's 31.3 pages if it's written in times new roman 12 pt single space font. I don't think I've ever written that much about one subject in my life.

In fourth grade I ran for school treasure. I promised my opponent I'd vote for her if she voted for me. I lost. That was about the end of my political involvement.

Re: Weird things people say in church

One time at a fireside for new converts, a lady who recently got baptized got up and "bore her testimony," meaning she shared her whole life story. Including telling us in detail when she conceived her children and how it was done out of wedlock. The whole thing took 20 minutes (literally....
