Re: Sexting in the bonds of holy matrimony
Don't worry Zed. I appreciated your Archer reference. And Rule 34 just states "If it exists, there's porn of it. No exceptions." Which doesn't mean "anything could be sexy," it's closer to what TBS said. It just means that sexuality is so varied and people's interests are so mul...

Re: Sexting in the bonds of holy matrimony
Is it weird that my main concerns about sexting have to do with internet security and not accidentally sending a dirty text to my boss or my mom rather than anything religious? I mean, I haven't dated anyone since like 2008, so it's all pretty hypothetical anyway. But still.

I'm 34 and I have a mortgage and a lawn and I'm a doctor and I know how to drive and I still don't feel like an adult.

I know all of my dad's passwords because he can't handle computers, but my mom doesn't know them because she doesn't want to deal with him not being able to handle computers.

Vote-shaming
http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/88335/ Oh barf. I feel so bad for the questioner. How annoying. Also, I feel like the people who plan to stand before their maker and say that the voted for Evan McMullin are going to be a bit surprised when their maker is like, "Cool story, bruh, but I don't c...

Re: Mental illness is dumber
It's annoying too because for so long women were dismissed as hormonally irrational and it's, like, what about those of us who are? Ugh There was a post in feminist mormon housewives a few years ago where this one woman (who was ultimately kicked out of the group because she did so much fat shaming...

Re: BQ#87973 - Nicest thing a stranger has done for you
I was struggling to walk home with a whole bunch of groceries home from the bus stop once during my BYU years, and a couple of teenage guys who were hanging out in their yard came up and offered to help me. They walked like 10 blocks with me carrying my groceries and were totally just polite and nic...

Re: endometriosis and IUDs?
I have probable endometriosis and just got my Mirena IUD out after about 3.5 years. I started to get a lot of random spotting after 3 years of only very light periods that lasted about a day so I got it out - I think in my case what happened was that I have a high BMI, so it just didn't last the ful...

Re: 87466 - Understanding the Mormon LGBT struggle
Honestly, it's so so hard and you can't really understand unless you are Mormon and LGBT. I had so much faith for so long. I still pray all the time, I still live mostly the same way I always lived when I was active in the church (I do drink coffee now because it actually helps my arthritis a lot, b...

Re: Morton's toe
Off topic, but I read this as "Mormon's toe" and thought it was going to be an epic Mormon urban legend I hadn't yet heard about. On topic, I have that, and I'm very feminine on the gender spectrum but also very gay (which it took me a loooooong time to actually realize). So there's anothe...

lol @ "letting the bad guys win." Let's take back our definitions, culture warriors! We'll have a gay old time if we can avoid pulling too many boners! EDIT: Now I have to link this because I can't stop laughing. Lololol. I'm dying. Also I came on here specifically to say how awesome Zed'...

Age appropriate sex ed
http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/87506/ So I think the question asker's way of doing things is actually pretty decent. But I just have to say that at some point when I was very young, like maybe 4, I asked my mom where babies come from. She has a degree in genetics, and I think at some point in the...

Seriously lost every shred of respect I had for April Ludgate with that answer. Holy crap. Not even remotely ok to say things like that. Not even going to try to be polite about how problematic that attitude is.

Re: BQ 87454 Where do babies come from?
I knew fairly early on, but with a lot of weird misconceptions about the actual logistics, including the idea that you didn't actually know if there might be a baby inside you, so you wore maxi pads so that the baby wouldn't fall in the toilet when you peed.

I was once in a Brazilian documentary pretending to look through a broken telescope in the daytime.
Also I get such bad tinnea versicolor that a dermatologist once took pictures of it when I was a teenager.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
My hands go uncomfortably numb every time I lie down and it makes sleeping VERY DIFFICULT You might have carpal tunnel syndrome, and if so, sleeping with carpal tunnel braces on your hands can help. But I would see an in-person doctor if it's bothering you enough to spend money on something just so...
