Re: #62285 - Sac. Mtg. with kids

I know it's been a while, but I just wanted to check in with y'all! I think that both the question and Claudio's answer could be taken offensively if they're read that way. Sometimes I read something that at first comes across that way. But I know that a majority of things that are written are not m...

Re: Retiring Writers

Aw, you guys are all so nice!!! I know, life does get in the way. I have to take some me time right now to get a few things in order before I can keep up with a time consuming hobby like the Board. Which is unfortunate. But, like I said, I will be sticking around keeping my eye on the other writers ;)

Re: Retiring Writers

Ah, got it. That makes me feel better :) I didn't have anything I wanted to do, so it's not like I feel jipped or like I missed an opportunity. And thank you! I'm sure the Board will be fine without me, but I did have fun during my four months helping out.

Re: Retiring Writers

As you all know, my retirement just posted today. And I guess I'm the odd one out because I submitted my retirement announcement to the Board one night, went back the next day and had already been changed to retired status. So technically, I've been retired for a few days now. It kind of makes me sa...

Re: Libertarian and Political Leanings

Yeah.... I think I was really high or sleepy or something when I wrote my earlier comment... Just forget I said anything and I won't further embarrass myself by trying to elaborate. It didn't really add anything to the arguments anyway. Really. :)

Re: Censorship

There was one http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/59848/ when the asker was asking about pre-marital exams and what to expect. I was explaining in a basic way what to expect and used the proper, anatomical term "vagina" which I felt was appropriate. Let's all be mature and use the correct t...

Re: Libertarian and Political Leanings

I think it would be more correct to say agree or disagree with the party or idea instead of asking if people or for or against the party. Even if you disagree with it you can still acknowledge their right to form and not be against it.

Re: Censorship

PW isn't giving all the facts. I saw her answer before the editors changed it. She gratuitously detailed every part of the female anatomy and used very vulgar slang terms to make her point. DISGUSTING. Okay, maybe that's totally false. MAYBE. Oh no! He ratted me out! How dare you, Gimgimno!!!11!!!1

Re: #60405 - Project Runway

Thanks so much for posting the links! I have to say after seeing Michael C's collection, I didn't like it that much. I thought the commentary about it was really funny. And what was with that last dress? The see-through top on the dress?

Re: #60405 - Project Runway

here's the thing though, SHOWING the collection isn't even an honor anymore because there were AT LEAST 6 decoys this season and last season. so michael did show, he just wasn't in the running for the money. I'm confused... a decoy? Sorry, I just don't understand what you mean! Would you mind expla...

Re: Censorship

I agree with the other writers and say that a lot of times sometimes I'll write a joking answer or something and the editors will censor it because they didn't think it was appropriate to joke. And I'm glad that they do that because it's hard to see all perspectives of things, and see how my jokes c...

Re: #60405 - Project Runway

Ah! I was just so mad about the results!!! I reiterate everything I said in my answer and say that I'm still not over it! Usually, if I don't agree with the end of a TV show, I just get over it. But I can't! I'm just that mad. Michael C was my favorite and I wish I could have seen his whole collecti...

Re: Rank the Pixar Movies

Optimistic. submitted a comment doing exactly what Katya mentioned. I don't like it because The Incredibles sits at number 2 all because Paperback Writer doesn't know a good movie when it punches her in the face (or produces a forcefield around her face, or runs around her face, or turns into a lea...

Hey sorry I won't be able to make it! I had previous plans with some friends for tonight and I'm not able to get away as early as I thought. But I will be there with y'all next time for sure :) It was fun seeing some of you at the booth yesterday! -PW

Hey Marduk- I would love to make an appearance, but I would be there around 8:00. Just let me know if that's okay!
