Re: Harry Potter Time.

Nope. [url=http://www.facebook.com/digicert] Digicert. /url] After Ron leaves, it should be Harry and Hermione moping in a tent, barely speaking to each other, right? Well, they had the radio listening thing going the whole time they were on the run, so they are sitting in the tent moping when a we...

Calvin and Hobbes

First appeared in newspapers 25 years ago today. And the world became a little more awesome.

Re: Dark and Twisty: 60605

As pertaining to the question that spawned this turn of phrase, I once heard the British comedian John Oliver give a fantastic rant in which he suggested/demanded that new organizations put a warning at the end of all articles and before the comments section alerting readers that all content of any ...

Loved this series. I can't wait for new epsiodes (though, sadly, I have to because Watson is busy being Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit).

The Great Muppet Caper 4. Muppets from Space 5. The Muppet Movie 6. Christmas Eve on Sesame Street 7. Muppet Christmas: Lett...

60594-Ranking Muppet Movies

Gimgimno, thank you for putting Muppet Family Christmas up there. That is one of the greatest Christmas specials of all time, and the Muppets at their very best (and it hs an actual on screen appearance by Jim!). And what's with the love of Muppet Treasure Island over The Great Muppet Caper? Sigh......

Re: @Dragon Lady: #60085

Ummm… not entirely. I've got a doc saved on my desktop with my current research and answer. I actually started it the day you started this forum. But I haven't worked on it in several days. I guess no longer having the pressure of watching the hour counter count up on the Board has greatly affected...

Re: Weight loss: #59609

This is sort of embarrassing, guys, but as a recently retired writer and now reader, I'm not really sure if I'm supposed to be overreacting in a defensive or offensive way. Does anyone know the etiquette in this situation?

Thanks everyone. I had a blast writing for the Board, but I knew I couldn't keep up with the time commitment as a writer much longer.

Re: #58844 Competent Man

Generally in American popular culture we highlight a kind of hero referred to sometimes as "The Outlaw Hero" but that I prefer to call "The Outsider Hero." These heroes operate outside the bounds of society, but do so in order to protect society. Thus, they may break the rules of...

Re: Making the stats more interesting

I've gone through these posts when I have time. Thanks for putting them up Katya. I tend to tackle them in chunks, so 6 months or 12 months is fine in my book. Another option to make the stats more interesting is to have people post a bunch of links from their Favorites. If they favorited them other...

Re: caffeine

I think my fiance told me that Coke is cheaper than water in South America...thus, everyone drinks Coke. Including the missionaries and mission president. In Mexico Coke was not cheaper than water, but it was always certain to be clean, which the water was not. So if you were offered Coke or water,...
