Re: Rant of the Day
Work is increasing the length of our shifts by 50% but thinking of only increasing the length of our breaks by 17%.

BQ 86391 about garment length
I think all the answers are accurate. I would also like to add that I am 6'0" and wear the tall Carinessa garments and they hit about 3-4" above my kneecap. So it would be entirely appropriate for someone 5'4" to get the petite garments.

Re: Answers I liked
As far as BQ 86307 goes about organizational behavior, I had the opportunity to take a business class titled organizational behavior for part of my emphasis, and let me just say that it was a waste of 3 credits and my time.

Re: mission timing
Honestly, I think the age change encouraged a lot of people to serve missions earlier than they should have because of all the peer pressure. I was almost 21 when they announced it and I was so glad that I already knew I was not going to serve a mission because that seemed to be the main subject of ...

Re: Naked Roommate
I just... really wonder how some people will be capable of functioning outside of BYU. Even in Utah. Unfortunately some are not very capable. I grew up in Utah county and there were definitely people in my ward... Even my very Mormon parents understood that different things are important to differe...

Re: period tracking apps
I'll usually download the same tracker app a month or so before a gynocologist apppointment so if there is any random pain, mood swings, or whatever, it is easier to remember when it happened and what else was going on. Other than that, I've been on the depo shot and mirena for the last two years an...

BQ 85849 Windows 10
BQ 85849 I'm a little miffed with Spectre's answer. While 10 is newer and likely has fewer security holes than 7, it can still have big issues. If someone has expensive programs that they use frequently, like for work or school, some of them might not be compatible with 10 yet. This happened to my ...

Re: 85833 - Second Anointing
If they used to be publicized, is there a list anywhere? I have a few relatives that date back to the early history of the church and now I'm kind of curious. Honestly, this is the first time that I've heard about this Second Anointing and it makes me a little uncomfortable. I do think there are som...

Re: 85836 - The return of the addiction police
I feel that many "addictions" are actually just compulsions. I think chewing nails is definitely one of them. {I even feel that some porn "addicts" fall in this category) Also, to your friend who has an ulcer, fountain drinks tend to have a weaker fizz than bottled/canned. Person...

Re: #85805 - liking facebook posts
I have an aunt who likes and comments on everything. Technically we're still Facebook friends, but I've changed my settings to be practically invisible to her except stuff other people tag me in. I don't post much on FB anyway so it's not a huge deal, but it got on my nerves.

Re: Baby gift for coworker + wife?
Perhaps a general giftcard to a local grocery store would be nice. The medical bills could be straining the finances and if not, it can be fun to splurge on food you don't normally get.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I just started watching Superstore on Hulu and it's absolutely hilarious :) I think I pay for Hulu. Don't want to be cooped up too much, but maybe I'll check it out. What's it about? I actually watched it without a Hulu subscription, so it should be available to anyone to watch. It's a sitcom about...

Re: Rant of the Day
So, I have an INTENSE family history of breast cancer. My mom was diagnosed at 33 and died at 36. My maternal grandmother, maternal great-grandmother, and maternal great-aunt all had breast cancer (although none died of it). My maternal aunt recently discovered a fast-developing pre-cancerous lump ...

Re: conservative people, who will you vote for?
Portia, I'm kind of curious. If you had to vote for a republican candidate, who would you vote for and why? I feel that political debates tend to turn into a my-team-is-better-than-your-team which doesn't lead to finding similarities or compromises. Personally, if I had to vote for a democrat, I thi...

Re: conservative people, who will you vote for?
I took this quiz for kicks and giggles just to see and it is pretty comprehensive. According to it, I am mostly libertarian and side with Gary Johnson 80%. As for Trump, he is terrifying to me and I think he is a disgusting racist, sexist, lying bigot. I'll admit that I'm mildly interested in seeing...
