Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I went pseudo-vegetarian one year. It was cheaper, and I had a vegetarian roommate who I really enjoyed cooking with. It was kinda fun to see that I was ok without meat. But there are still very few things that beat a good grilled steak or BBQ chicken during the summer. :) Good luck with trying it o...

Re: I Dreamed a Dream
Sometimes. If I recognize it's a dream while it's happening, I can control most of my own actions from then until I wake up. Don't know exactly what makes it so I recognize it's a dream, but I'm actually trying to learn how to do that. Because it is pretty freaking awesome to control dreams. And use...

Re: Mot du jour, etc.
My preferred dictionary doesn't do linking very well. It just sends you to the main site every time. I'll do some more searching though. A gif might be a good call. Thanks!

Re: Come on, Eirene
Eirene was one of the first 'nyms I really would follow. I recognized that writers used the same 'nym, but she was the first one I really looked for in answers. (I read all the answers, usually, but I still like looking for some writers particularly.) We'll miss you. Best wishes on the rest of life....

Re: Introduce Yourselves!
Wow. She packed her summer, no kidding. I thought a summer would be good enough, but I'm really not sure anymore. Hence the plan for a full year.
I studied Business Management, entrepreneurship. Loved so much! Great program with great professors and classes.

Re: Introduce Yourselves!
Hi. I'm Smurf Blue Snuggie. And I've known about the Board Board for a while, but didn't really think I wanted an account. Just sort of ignored it. And then recently I've been hearing more about it and finally caved. So here I am. I love reading, especially Sci-fi and Fantasy. My favorite book in th...

Re: I Dreamed a Dream
I could honestly flood this forum with all the vivid dreams I've had and remembered over the years. I'll just summarize it all though by explaining that 90% of my dreams take place in the same world. And I've been able to draw decently accurate maps of that world. So when I start dreaming pretty muc...

Re: let's talk about sex
bob's not a married! You can have opinions, too! ... I did a lot of studying about sex waaaay before having sex, mostly just because no one told me about it. I have been wanting to learn more, but I'm not at a place where I have access to a college course or something similar that I'd feel comforta...

Re: Bad date stories - #72586
My dating life hasn't been too bad, considering. But one I went on freshman year got us planning "the most awkward group date ever" where each person would be paired with someone specific and sat next to someone else in order to maximize the discomfort. The inspiration? My rebound date. I ...

Re: #72791 - Friendzoning
Oh, I understand. I just wanted to share opposite stories because that was the second "I love you friendzoning." Although I'm pretty sure the response "I just love everyone!" does friendzone pretty efficiently.

Squirrel: I also thought the song was "by this shalmeno." And I don't think it's our fault. No one enunciates that song properly. It still sounds like shalmeno most of the time to me, unless I'm thinking about trying to separate out the words. My family is close friends with a family in Id...

Re: #72791 - Friendzoning
One person saying "I love you" when the other one doesn't feel that way doesn't always mean friendzoning. Now, it may lead the one who doesn't feel love to friendzone the other out of fear of leading them on, but it can also lead to mutual love and marriage. I had two roommates go through ...
