There is a Star Trek movie called "First Contact." Watch it, it is available at the Provo library and on the internets. You will no longer be out of the loop.

Just sayin'.

{Am I allowed to say I'm not a fan of this? Probably not. I support everything the Board does as a collective! :D)

I agree with most of the things that have been said about E.D. The only thing is I would have to say that the stigma attached to seeing a counselor is not only within Mormon culture. Growing up in a very not-LDS town it was clear that going to counseling has a stigma to almost any person who doesn't...

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread. Your guesses were pretty good! Except that I'm not quite that tall, and I have red, shoulder-length hair. Plus my glasses are Quite Classy. :) This has all been very entertaining.

This is fun, can I participate?! What do I look like? Once I overheard some students walking at BYU who were talking about how they sometimes make up names for the people they pass. I quickly turned around and asked them what my name was. Six hilarious guesses later I left the conversation. Fun times.

Ouch, bismark! I do have a blog :D Anyway, I gave an explanation in the answer.

Whistler, I'm glad I'm not the only one. It would be awkward to set precedent. I wonder how many times a question has been answered by the questioner.

#55951 Morally Objectionable Movie Themes?

So, when I first saw this question I had a conversation with my boyfriend about objectionable movie themes. He said he didn't believe there was such a thing, that all good movies have "objectionable morals." In a way I agree with that. One way to judge a good movie is see how it affects yo...

Heeeeey y'all

OK! I met the 100 Hour Board when I was a senior in high school. I think that my boyfriend at the time introduced it to me, but maybe I introduced it to him. I've been reading (and more recently writing) ever since. I wish I had known about these forums sooner. Also, I wish I could remember my passw...
