Can someone help me hunt it down for resale?! It's not on ebay!
Hmm. If nothing else, you can set up an email alert on eBay so that if any others come up for sale, you'll know about them.

Re: LDS Handbook changes - SSM, Apostasy, and children

I'm really, really sad about this. Just really sad. I was finally at a place where I was thinking maybe I would try dating women, because I just want some companionship. I want to be with someone and although I'm probably technically bisexual, I'm not very often attracted to men. It's not even abou...

Re: LDS Handbook changes - SSM, Apostasy, and children

Starting on Friday, I had a terrible headache that wouldn't go away. Headaches aren't uncommon for me, but this one was particularly persistent even after I had a decent night's sleep on Saturday. It wasn't until this morning that it occurred to me that the problem was that I was seriously dehydrate...

Re: LDS Handbook changes - SSM, Apostasy, and children

I haven't felt so hopeless in a long time. I'm so sorry. If there is anything I can do please let me know. I am also affected by this much more than I have been by anything else church-related in a long time. Thanks. I've also been dealing with an (unrelated) stressful family situation, so this is ...

Re: 84363

I know there are literally hundreds of GA quotes in support of different familial and societal obligations for men and women, but I just wanted to say that my life has had more happiness and peace since I started ignoring that stuff. Preach. Also, if you're on Twitter, you should be following @manw...

The lecture on connectomes started out a bit dry, but ended with a rousing peroration, prompting applause from the students.

Re: Answers I liked

Heidi Book's answer on remarriage after being widowed is simply lovely in so many ways. It really is. It's one of the best things I've read on the Board in a long time. I think one of the best things about the Board is when people can write thoughtful answers based on their own experience. Any one ...

Idk I thought Physics 121 was pretty easy, but then again Alberta apparently has the best high school physics program in the world and I'm aware that I'm relatively alone in my opinion of 121. MY PROFESSOR THO He used actual overhead slide projector and kept referencing MacGyver. Oooh, who was it?

pirogue - a type of small boat (not to be confused with pirog, a type of Slavic pastry)

They sailed the pirogue out into the bay and quaffed champagne under the moonlight.

scrim - strong, coarse fabric, chiefly used for heavy-duty lining or upholstery

(I was familiar with this word in the more technical theater sense, but I didn't realize it had a general meaning, as well.)

For his next project, Christo decided to drape a menir with scrim.
