Re: Answers I liked
I have an hourglass figure and those stats are almost exactly what mine were about a year ago. They are probably measuring around the belly button and not at the natural waist. But I'm not surprised that those are the averages because of the huge percentage of Americans who are obese. Let me just sa...

Also, Indefinite Integral, don't worry about age differences. I have a 27 year old friend who's dating a 23 year old guy and they are as happy as can be.

Re: I'm setting two readers up
This is exactly the reason that things didn't work out with me and a guy I almost started dating last week. I felt like we couldn't have those sort of intellectual conversations. Can I be set up with Lonely Intellectual?

I don't understand how so many people drink coffee everyday. Half a can of diet coke and I'm jittery for the rest of the day.

Re: # 72717 Movie trends
I wasn't quite sure whether to count reboots as sequels or adaptations, especially for film franchises like James Bond and Batman. I decided that I'd count the first movie with a new actor as an adaptation and subsequent films as sequels, which is how the original data done.

I was bored last night so I made this. It's a chart for the top ten movies that have come out in the last thirty years. Pretty interesting data if you ask me.

I want to beat the world record for most blood donated. I just have to donate every 2 months for the next 50 years, no problem!

Bad date stories - #72586
My first date ever was a blind date with my friend and a different friend's boyfriend, let's call him Ken. Ken's family had a rule that you couldn't go on more than 2 dates in a row with the same person, presumably to keep him from getting a girlfriend in high school. He got around this rule but goi...

Salt and pepper shakers should be clear or clearly labeled. That's all I have to say.

The reduplicated words are also minimal pairs because they share the same phonemes except one.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
I thought it was really fun. The main character has a strong voice so it was enjoyable and didn't feel like your run of the mill YA fantasy romance. I'm excited for the next book.

Fun Running Apps
http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/72420/ There's a kickstarter campaign for a personal fitness app that sounds like fun. I'm not involved in any way personally (so it's not advertising, right?) but I would really love to see something like this. I need lots of external motivation to exercise. Here'...

Wow, that sounds awful! My root canal only took about 45 minutes and it didn't hurt at all. And the crown feels pretty nice because it's so smooth-if they were cheaper I wouldn't mind having crowns on all my teeth.

Does anyone have recommendations for places in Provo? I haven't had too much trouble with finding a good bra because I'm only about a B, but I still feel like I should get a professional fitting just to be sure.

Re: Do you sing?
I sing, never had formal lessons but I've got a good ear so 4/5
Guitar-3/5
Piano-4/5
French horn-3/5 (though I haven't played in a few years)
Organ-3/5
We should totally start a boardboard choir! Choir practice will be via video chat and our final concert could be an awesome YouTube video.

Re: Answers I liked
That said, I checked out some of the rest of the guy's blog a couple of months ago, and was largely unimpressed. But really, that's fine--I'm sure there are women out there (lots of them!) who would go for his dating style. That's the thing about trying to figure out the "rules," though--...

I don't really have any advice about the TESOL MA except that the teachers are amazing. I'm doing a TESOL minor and I have loved all of the classes. I'm doing a French minor too...I wonder if we've met IRL.

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Luckily all of my wisdom teeth are already out so I don't have to worry about that. The biggest problem is the fact that this tooth will cost about $1400 by the time they're done with it.
