Re: I Dreamed a Dream

I finally had my first flying dream the other day! In order to fly I had to hold two special flying sticks, on in each hand. I had to point the sticks in the opposite direction of where I wanted to go and things. When I tried holding both sticks in one hand I fell back to the ground. Last night I dr...

Re: Camp Songs

I think you should sing the hobo song "The Big Rock Candy Mountain." Especially the parts with alcohol in it! That'll be a hit at girls camp! It seems there are many girls camp songs about boys and relationships. Most of the scout songs I remember are about food and smashing stuff. I was ...

Re: Camp Songs

I actually stole a YW songbook from camp one time... I might still have it kicking around somewhere. If I find it, I can tell you what's in it. I remember singing Sippin Cider a lot, and there was one about Noah that sometimes we sang a lot, and sometimes we only sang it once on a campout.

Re: Answers I liked

I don't think this comment deserves its own thread, so here. This question about food scales and "womanly behavior" . I thought the answers were great, and I was glad someone pointed out that measuring out food in order to restrict caloric intake can lead to some bad habits. I also just w...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10

There's a duct tape festival in Avon, Ohio every year on Father's Day weekend, and I really really wanted to go this year. Due to financial poop, I couldn't go. :P I'm a member (and a founder) of various duct tape groups on facebook, and some of the other tapers got to go, and now they're posting pi...

New Super Mario Brothers for the Wii is hilarious. Seriously, I have never laughed so hard at a game as I did with this one. Every. Time.

Re: Still close to high school friends?

I got to hang out with one of my high school friends today! We both sang Tenor in choir our senior year of high school, and that's how we became friends. We talked about random things like how I would always try to annoy our choir teacher (I fell asleep so many times in that class... still managed t...

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10

I had a friend over today, and we were talking about random things when Bob came home. That's when I found out that he and my sister have at least one thing in common: they're both pro-nakedness. They had a discussion about it. It was funny that that was the first thing they really learned about eac...

Re: First Daddy Daughter Video Games

She also enjoys Mario Kart even though she ends up going the wrong way and usually wants to switch controllers with me halfway through. It works out fine as long as you don't care too much about the outcome of the game itself. Plus one on this. It drives my older kids crazy to play mario kart, etc....

Re: #72890 - Loved and Lost

Learning how to get closer to someone and communicate with them is what makes me happy that I had my first romantic relationship. It was a weird little thing that went on for far too long, and after the break up was it super awkward for several months (at least, it was for me) since I would see the ...

Hee! I might try that for a few days and see how I like it. I could use a little more structure and motivation.
That's why I started. Apparently I can be a lot more accountable to a website on the internet than to myself...

I'm offended, Bob, deeply offended. :P

Here's mine, in no particular order:
Finishing a project and realizing that all the hard work I did paid off
Candy colored ponies
After-auditions high
Friends and family
Being outside (especially hiking and camping!)

Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10

All of my roommates and neighbors are awesome and/or old, so I generally don't have problems with them being noisy while I'm trying to sleep. I do sometimes have to give one of my roommates a heads-up right before I go to bed so she doesn't watch movies too loudly, but sometimes she has to do the sa...
