Re: Happy Days in Random Chatter 10
Random great idea I had: I'm going to buy (tempera, probably) paints and a bunch of poster board. I'm going to invite all my friends over, and we're going to have a Bob Ross painting competition to see who can paint the best, by following along with what Mr. Ross says to do. No pausing or rewinding....

Re: New laptop
So, my laptop has given me the blue screen of death twice in as many days, which has me thinking that it may be about to give up the ghost. If I get a new laptop, I need one with a DVD drive, because I don't have any other way to play DVDs, and I'm looking to stay with a PC. It doesn't need to be s...

A link for Dragon Lady, mostly because it says Dragon Lady. Because it's from Imgur, the comments have some bad language.

Re: How Active is Active?
My mission president always encouraged us to count people as active if they attended at least twice a month for three consecutive months. Or something like that. It basically equated to "At least half the time."

Re: reading facial expressions quiz
That's a very good score, vorpal blade! An interesting case relating to reading faces is that of Chuck Close . The artist can paint your face with photorealistic accuracy, but he can't attach it to your identity very well, as he has prosopagnosia, or face blindness. Digit, you know some of the cool...

I'm 98% sure that I don't make those same faces when I feel those emotions. And also 98% sure that no one I know does, either.

Re: wedding expos
I feel like being obsessed with weddings when you're not engaged is both alarming and probably indicative of a deeper problem. Should I be, like, "screw it I'm going to this wedding expo in Sandy on January 24th and sampling all the cake ." I feel like Concorde, specifically, needs to wei...

I don't even know what you think.
But I do know that we decided that our a capella group that we're starting (in theory. If it ever happens) is going to sing "Do you want to build a snowman."

I am fully supportive of Office 365. That way, I can use any computer to deauthorize it, and install it on another computer. For example, when my computer crashed (because of my own efforts), I was able to just reinstall it for free from the Office website. Also, you get free upgrades as long as you...

Any Way of Kings fans out there? Tor.com has published the prologue and first 5 chapters of The Words of Radiance on their webpage. And holy cow. So much to process in only 6 chapters! THIS WORLD IS SO BIG AND DETAILED AND WE KNOW SO LITTLE! I love these books. I'm rereading the first one right now...

http://theboard.byu.edu/questions/76015/ First of all, good answer. Second of all, in Taiwan (especially during the winter), we would go to peoples' houses, and they would serve us cups of boiling water. And some days when it was really cold and rainy, we would just sit with that cup of water in our...

I mostly just wish that I could have a different, more full featured scripture app on Windows Phone. Because I love the OS, and don't plan on switching anytime soon.
