Here's my favorite random panel I've found on that site so far:
Jon: "I think my toes are jealous of my fingers because they get to point at things."

I'm with Humble Master on this one. It was quite amazing to read the library battle.

Speaking of the top 10, I glanced through them yesterday just to remind myself of what was there. Uffish, I had forgotten that you were the one responsible for that amazing picture documentary of Optimistic and Petra's non-romance. Very impressive.

I'm with A Mom here. I was laughing hysterically while I read Humble Master's first kiss story. It kind of (but not really) made me wish I had an awkward first kiss story to tell. Instead, I think I will just really enjoy the memory of Humble Master's story, which I also marked as a favorite. I woul...

I liked the "negatives only" question because it's a fascinating aspect of linguistics. It reminded me of a book I read a few years ago called "The Mother Tongue," which was an excellent read about the history of the English language. I heartily recommend it to anyone who finds l...

Here's the most bizarre one I've ever heard: I had a friend who I kind of dated whose brother (age 30) was married to his best friend's mom (age 65).

You grew up in a public school? I bet that was fascinating! Incidentally, has anyone ever read the book "My Teacher Lives at School?"

Yay! Thanks for proving me wrong, Krebscout. I feel the world is a slightly happier place now. :) I'm not being sarcastic, either. And Mabel, I was looking at the last bit of your post where you said "not that I've ever managed to have anything uncomplicated, but I'd like to" as my referen...

Har, har. Uncomplicated dating . . . is a myth. Unless you want to do what Mischievious is tempted to do sometimes and go in for an arranged marriage. I would be very glad to be proven wrong, if anyone can do it . . . here's your chance to tell a story about uncomplicated dating.

That's actually another thing I raised my eyebrows at, though, Twister. Remember how Harry went through wand after wand after wand in Book 1 before finding the right one? I don't understand why suddenly in the seventh book, it's a much easier thing for Harry to just disarm Draco and suddenly his wan...

I dunno . . . I still think that the bit about Harry defeating Draco and thus becoming the true master of the wand is a bit weak. It's not like the Elder Wand was directly involved in the struggle and Draco didn't die . . . it's not like the book is ruined for me, but I'm furrowing my brow about it.

Bismark

Most of them caused me to furrow my brow while chuckling quietly in mild confusion. I think I missed the jokes last night. Mostly I was entertained by zoning in on Mabel's conversation at odd moments.

Okay, this is kind of freakish. I had a dream about raccoons last night, before I saw the updates on this thread. Like ahem, I have never had much close contact with racoons. They really must be telepath . . . etic.

I'm pretty sure that no one else has a story quite like mine. I was at my house being bored over Thanksgiving break about a year and a half ago and I decided to Google my name. I was pleased to see that the first hits that came up were, in fact, about me and not anyone else with my name (my last nam...
